Short Term Child Care
Who We Are
Short Term Child Care (STCC) provides families, employers and child care centres, the ability to access high quality care that best meets their temporary child care needs.
We have three very unique programs to choose from:
- Centralized Supply Educator List
- Home Placement Program
- Shelter Respite Child Care Program
All child care provided through STCC seeks to establish a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for the child(ren), which fosters their emotional, social, intellectual and physical development, however brief the child care arrangement.

Hours of Operation
Our staff responds to inquiries:
Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 8:30am
Sunday to Thursday: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Care in the home is available 24 hours and 365 days of the year.
Please note – our Placement Coordinators are not available for inquiries or bookings on statutory holidays.
