Andrew Fleck Children’s Services (AFCS) has always taken a leadership role in the child care community and in early childhood education. The two elections, provincial and municipal, taking place in 2018 serve as an ideal opportunity for us to engage with the community; we are pleased to share the series of “Did You Know?” we have created to inform the public and politicians of the benefits of early learning for children, their families and the community and the challenges the early learning sector is facing.

Andrew Fleck Child Care Services is changing its name to Andrew Fleck Children’s Services (AFCS) to reflect the variety of services offered including licensed early learning and care (8 sites), licensed Home Child Care, Children’s Inclusion Support Services, Ontario Early Years Centre – Ottawa South, Short Term Child Care and Child Care Consulting Services.

Want to receive a free school readiness assessment from a registered clinical psychologist? The University of Ottawa’s ADHD and Development Lab is looking for families to participate in a study. We welcome children with or without attention problems.

We operate 13 programs in various locations across the City of Ottawa, providing a continuum of child care, information, support and early years services to over 4,300 children and 27,000 families each year. The key to our continued success is our unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation and inclusion in meeting the diverse and changing needs of families and children.
